Obtained his law degree (summa cum laude) from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 1998, and a master’s degree (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2002. He worked for Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York. He was a founding partner at López Rangel y Gutiérrez Mendoza, S.C., where he worked for over 15 years. Mr. Gutiérrez speaks fluent English. His practice areas are: aviation law, corporate and commercial law, transactional law, mergers and acquisitions and real estate law. He has been ranked as one of the best lawyers practicing aviation law in Mexico by the renowned specialized publication “Chambers & Partners” during several years. Obtained her law degree (special mention) from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 1997. She later performed graduate studies at the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and attended the Program of Instruction for Lawyers of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She also has postgraduate studies in civil, commercial, family and intellectual property law. She has lead global projects in the public and private sectors, participated in international treaty negotiations and represented Mexico in specialized organisms such as APEC and WIPO.
